Nancy Wyse
Vice President

Nancy Wyse was born in Kamloops in the nifty fifties. From a very musical family she went on to teach music in public schools in Burnaby, the Bulkley Valley and Penticton. She completed her Masters of Education in Arts Education through Simon Fraser University. She knows from both personal experience and attentive observation the incredible power of performing arts. Music and Drama are community builders and they also help build the performer’s personal confidence.
Nancy serves as Vice-President on the PAMDA Board of Directors. She is honoured to be part of this Board – a generous and gifted group of community volunteers. She appreciates the diligent and creative work of our executive
director, Catherine Jones. And Nancy is also amazed and delighted by the incredible, skilled faculty. Such a talented team! Penticton and area are so lucky to have access to such instructors! From small children to active seniors –
and all the folks in-between –there is something of note for all. Her own cello lessons through PAMDA add a rich dimension to her life.
