Updated: Oct 14

On Saturday, October 18, the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra takes the stage at the Cleland Theatre, kicking off their 66th season with a program bursting with contrasts, energy, and inspiration.

Why you’ll love it:

  • Two master composers, 200 years apart: Mozart’s timeless classics meet the contemporary brilliance of Anna Clyne.

  • Standout performances: Mozart’s Overture to The Marriage of Figaro & Symphony No. 40, and Anna Clyne’s soulful cello concerto DANCE featuring Martin Krátký.

  • Exciting debut: Maria Fuller makes her OSO conducting debut, leading the orchestra through both Mozart and Clyne.

For students and young musicians:

  • See your instructors and professional musicians in action.

  • Experience music from two very different eras and hear how composers express emotion in different ways.

  • Get inspired to create, perform, and dream in your own musical journey.

Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just love music, this is a live concert experience that will inspire and delight. Don’t miss it!
