Speech Arts Student, Georgia Beatty, Receives 2 Medals for Outstanding Performances

Georgia has been studying speech arts for 5 years at the Academy. She is now 11 years old, and has really developed some great skills. She was presented with two medals this week for her outstanding accomplishments.

One medal was for a Distinction mark on her Royal Conservatory Level 4 Speech and Drama Practical Examination – taken ‘remotely’ via Zoom in October.

The second medal was for a Distinction mark in February’s Shakespeare Monologue Festival. Georgia performed a scene from The Tempest. The festival was held on Zoom and involved close to 40 students from across BC.

Well done, Georgia!
