Ignite the Arts Festival is back for a third year and this nine-day event has a jam-packed schedule.
The Community Week runs from March 22 to 28 and is 7 days of free and discounted events for all members of the family. There's a Lake-to-Lake Art Walk, the Confluence Conference with the En'owkin Centre, a Mini Mural project with Cannery Brewing, a Parade for No Reason, and so much more!
And then March 29-31 is the Festival Weekend and you want to be sure you get your wristband for this! It's three days of non-stop music, performance, art, and workshops running in nine venues, all mostly in downtown Penticton. Passholders can simply go from venue-to-venue - the Elks Hall, Dream Cafe, Tempest Theatre, BritBar, Highway 97 Brewery, the Penticton Art Gallery, and more - and take in a lineup that has something for every member of the family. There’s folk to electronic to spoken word, and hip hop. There’s live theatre, dance, clowns, workshops, exhibitions, and a lot of music to get you and the whole family dancing!
Adult passes are $125 and include a $15 merch voucher. This will give you access to every festival venue for the entire festival weekend, including workshops.
Youth passes (12-18) are only $25. (They don’t include a merch voucher);
Kids under 12 get in free!
