I went from feeling nauseous at the thought of playing in front of anyone at all, to actually looking forward to our next Guitar Ensemble public performance. Is the tooth fairy real too? LOL.
I keep joking that I need to retire so that I can do all the PAMDA music things I want to do in a week. I've been taking lessons of one type or another throughout my life. But it's never been fun, I never really understood how music works, and I've certainly never looked forward to playing in public. This has all changed. The extremely high quality of instruction but with the supportive and fun way it is delivered by Dave Barber (and Yanti Sharples) makes all the difference.
