Here's a great opportunity for students looking for performance experience.
Once a month, the Penticton Seniors' Centre holds a dinner for their members and they are looking for student performers to play during the mealtime. It would be approximately 30 minutes. You can play on your own or with a friend. AND as a thank you, the Seniors Centre will contribute $50 towards the students' music tuition.
There's a piano available for pianists and accompanists, as well as a sound system if you want to plug in a guitar.
This is a great opportunity to have fun, gain performance experience, and also simply be involved with the seniors in our community. (And it's good practice if you're preparing for Festival or an exam.)
