There are many benefits of learning to play a musical instrument, such as the violin. Students learn discipline, patience, and perseverance; they become accustomed to receiving and using constructive criticism. Students also develop confidence and a sense of achievement. In Studio 16, violin instructor Tanya Westby teaches beginner violinists and fiddlers of all ages.
