“The true mission of the violin is to imitate the accents of the human voice, a noble mission that has earned for the violin the glory of being called the king of instruments.” ~ Charles Auguste De Beriot
There are many benefits of learning to play a musical instrument, such as the violin. Students learn discipline, patience, and perseverance; they become accustomed to receiving and using constructive criticism. Students also develop confidence and a sense of achievement. In Studio 16, violin instructor Tanya Westby teaches beginner violinists and fiddlers of all ages.
